Phi-Phi islands
Phi Phi Island is a tropical paradise that’s just an hour or two’s sailing from Phuket. It’s a group of six islands located in a marine national park in the Andaman Sea. Only one of the islands is inhabited – Phi Phi Don – but you can explore them all with our private boat charter Phi Phi Island itinerary.
As local yachting specialists, we have created an exciting full-day tour package that hits all the highlights of this beautiful tropical archipelago. You can explore Maya Bay, where much of The Beach was shot, and Loh Sama (Sama Bay), which is another great snorkelling and scuba diving site. Pi Leh Bay is a gorgeous lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs. For those who want to relax and soak up some sun, we recommend visiting Monkey Beach on the southwest side of Tonsai Bay (on the main island of Phi Phi Don). Taking its name from long-tailed macaques that live in limestone cliffs forming a dramatic backdrop to pristine coral sand, Monkey Beach is popular with visitors from across the world.
The best time of the year to visit Phi Phi for yachting and boating is from November to April, when the weather is dry and sunny, and the sea is calm and clear. However, you can also visit during the low season from May to October, when there are fewer tourists and lower prices, but be prepared for some rain and rough waves.
